This year's WPO Entrepreneurial Excellence Forum (EEF), held at the picturesque Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, marked a significant gathering of women entrepreneurs leading multi-million-dollar businesses from around the globe. Renowned for its comprehensive agenda designed to foster growth and innovation, the EEF 2024 provided an unparalleled platform for connection, learning, and inspiration.
The #2024EEF kicked off with a grand Opening Ceremony that set an invigorating tone for the entire forum. Camille Burns, CEO of WPO, took centre stage to warmly welcome the distinguished attendees. Addressing the room, Camille emphasised the significance of the gathering, spotlighting the collective strength and potential of women entrepreneurs worldwide. Her speech not only inspired but also aligned all participants with the forum’s theme of innovation, growth, and leadership. The ceremony was a fitting prelude to the days of learning and networking that followed, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of entrepreneurial excellence that the WPO champions.
Leadership from South Africa
Leading the South African delegation, Anni Wilhelmi, Head of WPO South Africa, along with Judy Sunasky, the esteemed Chair of the Johannesburg 2 and 3 chapters, brought their rich experience and leadership to the forum. Their participation underscores the dynamic role South African leaders play within the global network of women entrepreneurs.

These insights complemented the everyday workshops and activities like Jazzercise and Strong For Life, which were designed to enrich the physical and mental wellbeing of the attendees.
Recognition and Growth
A highlight of the EEF was the announcement of the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies, celebrating the achievements of women leaders who are making significant impacts in various industries. This recognition not only honours individual accomplishments but also encourages a culture of excellence and ambition among all members.
Premier Sponsorship
The forum was notably supported by Prudential, this year’s premier sponsor, whose involvement played a crucial role in the execution of this high-caliber event. Their commitment to supporting women in business was evident throughout the three-day forum, enhancing the experience for all attendees.
